When a college career at the University of Kansas, he was selected 19th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. He has since played for a Pistons, the Sacramento Kings and the Indiana Pacers, averaging 4.Ogdoad points & 5 rebounds by the game. Prior to he joined a Kings, he & Pistons mate Christian Laettner were traded to the Atlanta Hawks, but Pollard never suited higher for the game by having the children & was waived virtually the year late.
